Spring skiing is a whole new experience that we love just as much as the heart of winter. Even though the snow, temperature, and atmosphere on the mountain are no longer quite the same.
Spring snow: slush or softness?
- Early in the day, snow is still compact and firm, perfect for fast runs.
- By afternoon, it gets softer and more transformed by the sun, making for a smoother, more playful ride.
- Some north-facing slopes still hold on to beautiful powder conditions, even late in the season!
Milder temperatures, but windier higher up
